National Train Day

National Train Day is important to the entire City of Meridian, Mississippi, because the area was brought to life upon the founding of the rails in 1854. Each National Train Day, the museum celebrates and this year we will emphasize model trains. Fun for all ages, the models tell a story of their own. The celebration will include vendors who sale and swap model trains that are sometimes difficult to find. Come and celebrate with us and bring your children who will enjoy riding our minature train.
