Mississippi’s largest amateur sporting event, State Games of Mississippi, will be held from April through the end of June at multiple locations. State Games features more than 40 sports for athletes of all ages.

Join the Parade of Athletes, marching with others from your hometown, May 31, 2024. March with your team and show your team pride. Meet with real Olympians from the State of Mississippi who have competed all over the world. Watch the spectacular Torch Lighting streak across the sky. Ooh and aah at the fantastic fireworks show.

Food and beverage booths open at 5 p.m. Coca-Cola trailer and Little Caesars Pizza will be vending. The Parade of Athletes begins at 7 p.m., and the ceremonies conclude with fireworks at 8 p.m. Athletes should report to the parade line-up location at 6 p.m.

In case of bad weather, participants will be able to shelter in the Arts District Garage and the Temple Theatre for the Performing Arts.
