Rooted in Mississippi and the wider Southern musical landscape, Back Roads & Back Stories is an evening of songwriting, storytelling, memory, and live performance hosted by Drew Young and featuring Cary Hudson of Blue Mountain and Shelby Kemp of Royal Horses.

Presented in a songwriter-in-the-round format, the show gives audiences a close-up look at the stories behind the songs — where they started, what they carried, and how the back roads, small towns, hard seasons, and second chances of the South find their way into music.
