MCM: Military Appreciation Day

MCM-Meridian is set to host Military Appreciation Day on Saturday, April 13 from 10am – 3pm. This event aims to recognize and honor the sacrifices and contributions of military families in our state. The day will be packed with exciting programming and special guests, all aimed at providing memorable experiences for military families in attendance.

Featured Activities: 

• 10am – 3pm: Exhibitor tables
• 10am – 3pm: Create a poppy, create a soldier or sailor, and design your family patch (self-guided)
• 10am: Key Field 5-Ton Military Vehicle
• 11am – 1pm: NAS fire truck & Sparky the Fire Dog mascot
• 11am: Storytime with Col. Smith (Key Field)
• 11:30am: Dandelion book & activity
• 2pm: Storytime with Kristine Davis (NAS)
• 2:30pm: The Dandelion Seed read-aloud & activity
