Celebrating Meridian’s birthday (February 10, 1860)
In its 3rd year, the Downtown History Walk will be Saturday, February 24, 2024, noon to 4 pm. Meet at Dumont Plaza to pick up a map of the stories featured. Select the stories you like and begin the walk. The route loops between Meridian City Hall and the old Lauderdale County Courthouse with the headquarters for the day at Dumont Plaza. This is a self-guided tour with tour guides placed throughout the walk to guide attendees to next stop.
Storytellers in period costume portray the citizens of old. Great for all ages.
